Windows 10 - Please insert DVD error - BFME2

I used to play BFME 2 on my Windows 7 PC and wanted to get back into it after the HD mod and the 1.09 patch. However, I now have a Windows 10 PC.
I followed the guide at this forum and Forshire's site completely except where I couldn't install the old version of Daemon Tools Lite (didn't work on Windows 10) and tried WinCDEmu and the latest version of Daemon Tools Lite - both times by completely uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
The game works on Windows 10 with a NOCD crack, however, I can't play online with that. When I try to use the original image or the mini image with WinCDEmu or the built in Windows 10 ISO mounter (with the full ISO), I get an error saying please insert the correct DVD.
I tried the launch fixer as well as the All In One Patch till 1.09. On a side note, I also have ROTWK in my Origin library and if I install that, it works (version 2.00), but, if I install the 2.01 patch from GameReplays, I get the same error again.
Does anyone have the same problem? Is there a fix out there for this please?
Thanks a lot! I'm willing to put a bounty out for this to work on Windows 10!

Windows 10's ISO mounting feature isn't meant to mount mini-images, only proper ISOs. Did you try Alcohol 52%?

Well... Alcohol 52%. You must either be using an old version or you didn't run it as administrator.

I'll tell you what I did (I had a similar problem):
Go here and download the portable version (no install required)
http://wincdemu.sysprogs.org/portable/
If you have the mini image, mount that. For my game, I don't need the .iso mounted.. just using that for the game install.
You said you did this, but here it is again (http://www.moddb.com...-startup-fixxer)
With the mini image and after running the fixer, it should work.
I hope this isn't redundant info.

Hello, I had this same problem and i solved it doing this.
Download DAEMON TOOLS LITE (Free) version 10.4 or higher.
https://www.daemon-t...products/dtLite
Install and run it.
Once you started it do this steps:
1- Go to "Add a Unity or a Drive" (my version its in portuguese, so search for similar terms).
2- Click on "Virtual Drive" and choose SCSI (its the most importante step, because on win 10, if you dont use SCSI units none BFME will work).
3- Now click on "Add Unity or Drive ".
4- Once a SCSI virtual drive was mounted, right click on it and select "Mount".
5- Choose your DVD ISO Image.
6- Have Fun.
If it doesn't work try these steps:
7 -Download a new ISO MINI IMAGE
For ROTWK download RotWk_Maxi_TheSmokingManSmokingM
