I followed instructions and it indeed works. note: must download Origin Launcher to access game properties. Game properties is not an option through Web Browser such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Also right click on Red Alert 3 folder select add new Key then name the key ergc. open folder to see ab(default). Right click this and select modify. copy and paste cd key and it should work.

The problem is that after applying this method, the "Launch" button changed to "Download" button....
