Actually, if we are talking about a "usual EMP", not all technology would be lost. Only the newer stuff like superconducters or other tiny equipment that can't take many waves will go bollox ("only" is a bit of an understatement since most things use the new stuff now).

Old stuff like vacuum pipes would possibly not take too much damage.

Nope, I wouldn't do it.
So many things we take for granted. Cars, we would have to walk everywhere. Fridges, no cold milk on my cerial, no butter on my toast... erm.. no toast :(
No more Friday nights down the nightclub. No cold booze :(

But worst of all... NO PC GAMING!!! AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!
*reaches for self destruct button*
Damn it, that wouldn't work either :(

EDIT= just remembered there was somthing on a documentary the other night, they exposed an oridinary office PC to a very weak EM pulse, it wouldn't turn on for another half an hour, and when it did everything was screwed, it had no Windows, didn't know what a hard drive was, hec it didn't even have bios.

I would, it would mean we hold a chance to lead a new life, to find a way to live life without its props that make it so simple. We take too much for granted in our lives, as we do with the planet. The planet could do with a break, as could we from modern technology.
Natus 3.4

Corrupt program now requires constant reboots and does not function at all in majority of instances. Designed with a web browser component to replace AOL, it has exceeded our expectations by being more crashy and unreliable and with worse tech support. We didn't think it was physically possible! A general product recall is advised; when it does function it seems to require background processes Girl 0.1Beta to stave off further crashes. Will someone PLEASE remove that code, and insert Backbone 1.9 in its place? That's assuming we even bother to continue this prog.

Lets forget he said that and continue the idea that all electronic devices are broken :p

No TV and Booze would be cool, as the streets would be filled with people again. Those who can perform or make booze would be conciderd rich.

I would miss the internet and it's endless knowlage. No more spell checker would be nasty, but i could always re-write the Davelish language ;)

Everyone who needs regular medical treatment would die. Leaving only the healthy to breed. This would be a great help to our ever degrading gene pool. All the fat people would vanish.

THAT's the spirit, D! Heck if the global EMP would have happened a matter of time ago, I would not have talked to you about EMPs...

All the fat people would vanish.
