Ok guys since PR is getting a navy we need ideas for China's navy as they are the only ones who currently don't have a navy.

Here's what I have so far:

Gattling Friggate
Armament: 1 turret of 2 cannons, 2 turrets of 2 cannons
Armor: Light
Rest: WIP

It looks great, but if you want to call it a frigate, you should make it bigger :p

I was also thinking that for the chinese battleship, there should be a special option for the front cannon to fire a shell containing cluster mines( water mines if the target is water)

I've got to agree, it looks like a PT boat with a really big whoppin' gun attached to the rear. :)

It should be about the size of the US ships perhaps. With that much armament.

Water mines. Very interesting. But you would need some sort of mine sweeper of some sort, since bulldozers don't just walk on water, so to speak. :)

Also, I'm tired of China being the only ones having mines. I mean, China can build mines, GLA can build Demo Traps, Why can't the U.S. side have mines or claymores, or tripwires? Just a thought.

Right now as it is, when I'm playing the U.S. I end up having to capture a Tech Dozer Bay, to build Chinese dozers, so I can eventually build up to a Chinese war factory, just so I can build mine laying units, just so I can lay a few lousy mines.

Ouch, I just read what I wrote. I jumped off topic and I'm ranting. Sorry, time for me to take a chill pill.

Water mines, cool idea. :p

thanks. I figured that the basic ships would have antimine abilities

As for U.S. mines......

Oh! I got it! it may sound stupid, but a new infantry could be a combat engineer, and they could do all kinds of stuff, including setting up automated machine guns androcket launchers. they could be stealth, too.

And AG, maybe a sub would be a good idea.

maybe a nuclear sub that fires subnuclear missiles at long range, and torpedoes(not nuclear)

we would some ASW for other sides.

well submarines would obviously detect each other, the underwater logic i guess would rely on stealth logic so an radar van or something would be able to detect undetwater.

The Americans probably adopt long range accurate sonar equipment and perhaps asw plane or torpedoes whilst gla boat is like a radar van (sonar pulse scan) and depth charges.

Also feedback on other features is always welcome, just post in the right thread :p

Good idea, here's the way I see it.

For the U.S. and China sides, this sub starts the game with similar armorments like that of the surface missile cruiser (destroyer) in the game now.

An upgrade would allow the sub to fire tactical nukes (one at a time) like the Chinese's Nuke cannon can.

Then as a 5 star general's promotion (or a very, very, high priced upgrade) have a superweapon upgrade that would allow the upgraded sub to launch all of its tac (cannon) nuke missile tubes at the same time. After that have a 5 minute reload timer set before you could fire the nukes again.

As for the GLA and/or Militia sides. They could have 'homebrewed' kamikaze subs that are packed with enough explosives (non nuclear) to sink a ship or sub. And in the case of the GLA they could launch high explosive, or toxin scuds.

Of course all of the above is high end stuff. So the subs should have a very high price tag on them.

Good idea, but the U.S. sub wouldn't have nukes, it would have cruise missiles, and around three times more missiles

Why no nukes?

The real U.S. Navy has nukes.

Besides, I'm taliking about having tomahawks at the start of the game, and having nukes as an upgrade option for BOTH the U.S. and China sides.

well, first off, there is a new project (real life) to replace the nuclear missiles on submarines, and are replacing them with seven cruise missiles per silo, and SEAL commando stuff.

second off, the U.S. is more humane, and would only use nuclear weapons if there was no radiation.

P.S. how do I get an avatar? (I want the king raptor cameo)
