The Sith War is a Total Conversion planned for the upcoming PC Real Time Strategy game Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth, aiming to bring to life epic infantry and Jedi battles in an era of Star Wars made famous by the recent Knights of the Old Republic, the time long before the Clone Wars and the rise of the Empire. With an independant storyline and proposed campaign, three completely unique sides, and giant battles, The Sith War will bring alive the destructive times when the Dark Side reigned supreme!

You can view our site here

Lol I am still getting a list of the staff positions that need to be filled, but if you are interested in helping, stop by our forums.

I was part of this project when it was a Generals mod... but left when it ported. I had created a website layout for them, they did not use it and I suppose that is my fault for not keeping in contact with them. but for all that would like to see if http://www.cnc-centr...kid/thesithwar/

Anyway, this mod had brillant concept as I can remember, xyvik did a great job with that. and lavasky did the modeling... and I was doing some modeling and skinning. i wish them the best of luck, and I may jump back onboard if I decide to start modding BFME, although I think I'll just stick to C&C.

Latest update from The Sith War

After a weekend of helping move my brother into his new house, which went really well, I finally sat down and finished what I started with the infantry listing. Now available are the complete infantry lists of all three sides, including the second heroes of each side. For the other units, we're not going to release information about them until we have a model to go along with them. We'll have some news regarding that later this week. Meanwhile, efforts are being made to improve(or most likely completely change) the website design to be much more professional, our building modeler Lava Sky is working on the Sith buildings, and Mr. Painless is going to be scouring the mod communities to fill up our open positions. Expect to see a list of what positions need filling in our Forums very soon, and if you have good experience, a good work ethic, can follow directions well, and think you'd be able to add to Sith War, feel free to apply to the position that best suits your expertise. We're going to do our best to keep Sith War small but effective, so even if you don't get a position, don't feel bad. With BFME right around the corner, Sith War is gearing up to mod full speed ahead!

Im still having problems registering on the forums. It keeps producing a Debug List saying it cant input the data into the table such as my Username and e-mail address. I've tried from both at home and from uni but still to no avail.

Contrary to popular opinion, it's not dead, work is continuing at a steady pace and we now have lots of new models and work on coding is about to begin soon. The Sith War can now be found at the following webpage.
