On an unrelated note, is the phrase "tad bit" grammatically acceptable? I say no. Here is the appropriate definition, as referenced from the Oxford English Dictionary Online Edition:

Tad: A small amount; freq. used advb. in the expression a tad, a little, slightly.

Therefore I put it to you that a "tad bit" cannot exist and provides a redundancy in and of itself. Beat that, you non-English-nerd types.

I would like to add that I stand by my previous statement. Grow thine hair, young Chaosmonger. Become a hirsute teenager of the "I scare old women but I'm nice really" variety. And don't listen to anyone who tells you that smoking isn't cool.

EDIT: I can't be bothered to make another post, but Copaman's wrong just below this post. Cigarettes are not gay. They are only gay if you smoke them in a gay way. Admittedly, cigars, pipes, bongs, spliffs and rollies are much less gay, but cigarettes are not without their own appeal. On the other hand, learn to roll. It's cheaper, cooler, more useful if you later develop into stonerism, and it looks way awesome if you can pull out your pouch/tin and skin up in about 30 seconds.

Really, who cares. There is no need to make some sort of big ''thing'' out of any of it. You're not ''cool'' when you smoke, you're not ''cool'' when your hair is long, and you're not cool if you're a straight-edge kid with a god damn buzzcut. It just doesn't matter. Don't attribute silly social bullshit to justify the things you just happen to enjoy.
