but frankly the design itself for the ARL-44 was really nothing new just using the CHAR B1 BIS chassis and mounting a schneider turret. The french interest in it waned after 1947 and it was cancelled in 1948.

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Andre 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

nothing other than it is only to please asthetic appeal. Although it might have been useful if it lasted for 1 1/2 decades in french army service.
