th saddest day of my life is today, they day i give up MME i will not host the mod anymore, after a freak accident i decided to give up the title to |MeMw| Ringwraith riding shelob. our clan leader. it is a very sad day for me

I remember when I gave up Crisis Now for Generals ZH. That sucked but was a practical decision. My advice is find another team that can benefit from your experience so you can participate but not be under so much pressure leading a mod.

Making a mod is ALOT harder than people first realize. I'm with you Haldir on the feeling of relinquishing a mod.

If you have made progress and cutom stuff worth sharing, please post it in the User Submitted thread so we can all benefit from what you have already accomplished.

by the way, if it wasn't for me, Haldir would be in a small cupboard hording icecream. I comforted him and made him realize that it was just a mistake, and that's all. And now, he is still leading the mod.

and i was root admin
wjile trying to change my sig
i accidely banned myself
we tried time and time again to get me back
but it didnt work
in the end we had to abandon the forum
and make a new one

hey Haldir, no offense but i think you are a bit over reacting to life
not that i know that much about life but you are sometimes taking it too fast, everybody does mistakes, no need to yell about this

:S i do screw up bad, i was having a rough day anyway, and that really put on the weight, i just snapped is all, i'm fine now. MME is barely in progress though, nothing is happening, if anyone with ALOT of spare time is willing plz let me know right now we have already over shot any hope of release before summer

It's amazing isn't it, how far someone can come. When I arrived here on these forums, I was Class-A N00b. I couldn't do things for myself, I demanded others to help me. I would not heed advice from the people who knew what they were doing.

But look at me now. A little effort and confidence, has truly paid off.

Any newbie who feels threatened by others who shoot them down, take my advice. Don't ever give up.


P.S. I apologize for the ridiculous Necro Post. But I was feeling nostalgic and reminiscent of the past, and upon seeing my transformation, I found it inspiring.
