For the guard and marines I think spaced or reinforced armour (like the forge world things) would be a good idea...

If you did it per vehicle you could chose from the two...

For example, thye spaced armour could offer greater HE protection, whilst the reinforced offers better protection from armour piercing rounds.

I don't know much about Warhammer, but I've seen some of those figurines to have some sort of a melee weapon, maybe they can be switched between a melee weapon and a gun, that is if you guys fancy it.

I got an upgrade type idea for the GLA.

You know how the GLA tanks can pick up enemy technology from destroyed tanks, well how about your infantry can pick up these items, & they get improved armour & weapons. & a spy that can steal enemy technology. Say you send a spy into a Chinese nuclear silo, Then you can make a nuke for yourself. & how about the GLA can upgrade His infantry to be able to dig foxholes & trenches to garrison in with sandbags & barbed wire. & the GLA workers can place mines. Just an idea.

That's not one idea.. thats actually 57 ideas.. and they're all for GLA.. and we dont even have GLA in Only War anyways..

Well, in Ultramarines the infantry could be upgraded with the american advanced training upgrade, reg marines able to attack aircraft, a black napalm sort of thing for the flame troops, be able to build just marines, just missile troops, just flame troops in grops of 5, being able to build elite marines, and more troop capacity for the land raider.

you can't simply generate more internal space in the land raider, it's firstly not possible to code, and it defies physics!

We're not having advanced training to make units start veteran as all marine squad leaders are automatically veteran anyway. Incidentally, you do realise that aircraft fly at a good healthy 400+ mph, now, to be able to shoot one that's, say, about a mile up in the sky with a boltgun is... not possible

sorry, but no way in HELL will I allow squads of just flamers or just missile troops. It doesn't happen in 40k, it doesn't happen in OW.

As regards to the black napalm, I tried it, but the yellow flames still looked better:P

Your welcome, and im sure ill have more. Also, you could upgrade the attack power without having the purple flame look. And im also sure you didnt say anything about the marines having a sniper, so will they?
