I am making a faction elves (part of mme) and I want to try it out. So i start a skirmish as elves and when i start i see a castle plot bt no castle . I dont die either. Just nothing I can do. Ive copied the civilianbuildings.ini from the adding a new faction part three tutorial and added the new bases, hex edited them correctly and added the .bse files into bases.big like it should. What is the problem?

sounds like you probably didnt set up the base correctly when you made it

you have to name the big pink thing BASE and make it a base object and then put ALL the other objects in that base (in there proparties it says in base: )
Now for Wrath, Now for Ruin, and for a Red Dawn...

The castle plots only have a small shroud range and so if they aren't close enough, you'll not see the citadel at the middle even though it's there.

Your problem is that you cannot see your keep.
You can give it a shroudclearingrange to avoid that.

Wow, be careful, when using another base for your own faction, you have to give all the objects on it the tag of your faction.

Moreover, i've had problems when i did not delete the pink pyramid and redid it with BASE, "is a base", and your faction tag, and retagged everything with my faction and the BASE tag.

This explains why alot of peoples new bases objects were not showing up on thier custom bases. Makes sense now...
