When you click the button, does it activate (turn gray) or can you click it as much as you want? If you can click it as much as you want then there is probably a spelling or code error in the CommandButton.ini, the CommandSet.ini or the code referring to the command button.
I take this to mean that when you choose the spot that you want to see (like the normal palantir) it works, but when you set it up so that all you have to do is click the icon...it doesn't work? That sounds like it may still be looking for the location radius to tell it where to look...

the easiest way to do this is to create an object automatically and that object has a mega vision range and so allows the player to see the whole map, u could then add a lifetime to that if u want
Now for Wrath, Now for Ruin, and for a Red Dawn...

try USE_OWNER_OBJECT to see what happens

This alone won't do it. Just putting this will make you still use the radius cursor, but the object will always be spawned ontop of the object doing the behavior. Looking at the Spawn Orcs commandbutton, I'm guessing you just have to remove all the cursor stuff from that. I'm going to go test this now.
