- gamemod.net (used to be game-mod.net). All sites hosted at game-mod.net are now under gamemod.net. I.e.: C&C Reloaded is now at http://reloaded.gamemod.net
- ralert.net (used to be ralert.com). All sites hosted at ralert.com are now under ralert.net. I.e.: 20XX is now at http://20xx.ralert.net/
And more changes will be announced soon to fully adapt the network into the new situation. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused to many of you. If you run a site that is affiliated or link any of the gamemod and ralert sites, please, update your links.

After some unexpected problems, we decided to change some of domains. So, update yourself
Dude, dont lie. Tell the people the truth: we did not decide to change the domains, it's just that someone bought them or Detail put them up on xreg. Or stole them to redirect to his blog. (see http://miasmaentertainment.com)

Too cute! | Server Status: If you can read this, it's up |Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

If even a teenager chose not to eat Mcd's twice, they could have bought thier domain outright themselves.
I pay $8.95 a year. That's chump change when compared to the amount of leverage I maintain over my own internet real estate.
This should be a learning lesson for some. But also, some of this was purchased while we did not have have alot of say about it. I would ALWAYS suggest one "choose" to buy thier own domains.

And we didnt because...?
A:
And has been paid back in the form of server space and Google revenue. The least he could do is sell them to us at a very low rate, rather than double or triple their registration costs. We still then have to pay a registrar to do the transfer.
I agree with MM here. Yes, the domains were his, but by and large they cost him nothing. What I don't get is why he bothered to auto-renew...I mean look at it like this. All it's gonna do is cost him more money than he'll make if he sells for 200quid a pop like he tried to.
The decision that was made was the best one that could've been made. Chaos, quit bitching about it Other than a few missing hyphens and a coupla broken links for a short time, nothing has changed in the slightest. If I were you I'd snaffle one of the other miasmaentertainment possibles and use that instead. Alternately it wouldnt be hard to find another, shorter, domain name.
