Just wondering if there were any plans for a campaign, if so, what is the story (well, the beggining, anyway)?

If there are no current storyline ideas, here's one I had;

At the end of ZH (the ZH plot is concecutive USA -> GLA -> China campaigns, so the end of China campaign is the end of ZH), the GLA had been destroyed and USA were defending their own boarders while China remained as a super power. How about having the GLA survive and sneak into a USA superweapons base and fire ICBMs and PUCs at the Chinese. This would cause the Chinese to retaliate, attacking the USA. Then the campaigns are a war between China and the US, with the GLA using the confusion to rebuild and attack. I thought that would be quite interesting (especially as the official USA and China missions are all against the GLA, which gets boring).

Good idea. One question: Is the end of the USA/China campaigns victory over teh GLA or the other country? After all, the war was set up, so would the end be the USA and China working together to stop it or just nuking each other?

Dunno, what would be best?

Here's an idea;

1st Campaign (China) - China retaliates against USA but doesn't succeed (nobody defeated).
2nd Campaign (GLA) - GLA attack China and succeed.
3rd Campaign (USA) - USA attacks China and then sees the GLA and attacks them, China, being grateful for help also attack GLA and don't attack USA.

china gets a new empour (or king ,queen whatever)
china empour thinks that the usa will betray them and take there country
so acting on insticngt china fires a nuke on chigaco

meanwhile

the gla are fighting the mitla armys
the milta hate war so they do fuck all and get defeted

the gla side of campigan is take over the mitla armys
and revive there forces to take back euorpe

the mitla side of the campgain is to prevent be taking over and on the last missoin is to destroy the gla to prevent them being taken over
the gla will be gone for good after the mitla beat them because usa and china destroyed all there armys in europe

back at chigaco usa have finshed cleaning up the radiation and are ready to bombard china major land marks ,milrtary bases to demoralize china into backing off to make china change there minds about FULL SCALE WAR!!!!!

at china. china has a plan to assintate the us president if they do it will deminstate there power all over the world but usa doesnt stand down china have to take over every major us militray bases to succesfuly take over the uniited states

GLA Campaign: Start a war with USA and China


1.Rescue former GLA leader Saddam Hussein from prison

2.Locate and eliminate Osama Bin Laden, who defected from the GLA(still evil terrorists, they just don't like your branch of the GLA anymore)

3.Crush Militia uprising in Baghdad, who want Saddam back in prison

4.Capture a Stealth Fighter, shoot down Air Force One, and get the nuclear launch codes(anyone seen the series 24? Yes, I got it from that)

5.Secure a USA missile silo and shoot it at China



China Campaign: Retalliate against the USA
Lots of nukes are launched by both countries after the USA failed to convince the Chinese that the nuke wasn't theirs, both lose a lot of power

1.Using a hidden airbase in Mexico(the Mexican governemt didn't know about it), destroy a USA nuke silo before it can launch

2.Stop USA bombers and tanks from entering China(similar to China 4 ZH, stopping the GLA)

3.Destroy a large USA airbase and prevent aircraft from escaping

4.Defend against a large attack on China(possibly the Chronosphere?)

5.Destroy the USA Particle Beam(Chronosphere?)




USA Campaign: Defend against China, stop the war, and defeat the GLA

1.Defend against a Chinese assault on DC, only to find that the GLA were prepared to attack DC too, so remove them too

2.Set-up suspected due to GLA in DC. Other generals handle the Chinese, you infiltrate Saddam's former palace and find their plans to start the war, Militia can be rescued here to help

3.China is notified, a cease-fire is called, and a meeting is set up in France. Stop the GLA assault. Miltia will help

4.Saddam couldn't stay out of Baghdad. He quickly set up a large base and claimed to be their leader once again. No prisoners, this time, kill him.

5.HALO drop with Lotus and Burton into the now GLA-controlled DC, secure a landing zone and USA and Chinese dozers will be dropped in. The GLA have a nuke. Get Lotus to disarm it before it blows up in the President's face, then get him out of there. The GLA have USA technology.


Final Mission: USA, China Militia and some rebel GLA(a few workers were sick of being slaves, along with a decent assault group) are at your disposal, but the enemy GLA have stolen USA and Chinese hardware. You have the strengths of all generals behind you and are authorized to deploy nuclear weapons by the USA and Chinese. Level their base.

The militia aren't really a big organization, just scattered civillians who hate war and hae some decent hardware. Missions for them would seem a little out of place, but they should be included in the campaign.

Here the idea....

Back story:
After the GLA was cleansed in Europe, all cells retreated to Middle-East stronghold. China, being grateful that they'd won a war, began repairing any damage inside their country and accumulating power once again. USA felt that the country needed more resources, so they began planning a secret strike on China and GLA. In Middle-East, a GLA cell ,who was tired of fighting, wanted to break away. GLA saw that coming and began to eliminate them. As the Middle-East turned into battleground. USA used this opportunity to strike China and aiding militia secretly.

Militia Campaign:
-Defend their region from GLA attack
-It should begin with special force mission (a few troops doing something important) to rescue their leader.
-There should be a mission that USA force helping militia fighting GLA.

GLA:
-Defeating the militia
-There should be a mission that they discover US involvement.

USA:
-Attacking China

China:
-Defending their homeland
-Retaliate

I don't think the USA should attack China. In the ZH story, the USA were serverely weakened, therefore they would know that they wouldn't stand a chance against China. Apart from that, I like every idea I've read hear - I would love to see them implemented by the PR team.

I agree I doubt the USA would attack China to replenish their resources because they would spend more than they would gain, they are already weakened while China is not, they are allies, and the USA does not strike first. Otherwise, the cold war would have been WWIII. A war between two major powers would be a nice change from the old USA and China vs GLA, which both Generals and ZH did.

why not have it that the US and china slowly begin to distrust the other's motives for giving the militia weapons and units. (more or less they think they are trying to get the militia to help them defeat the other)

China: Kill some GLA and a few minor skirmishes with the GLA

GLA: Start a war between China and USA then hide until both sides are severely weakened, some involvement with Saddam and Osama

USA: Major fights with China, find evidence that it was a setup, then beat down the GLA using combined China, USA, Militia and rebel GLA forces
