I made the model, the code, the cameo, the CSF, and the skins for the turret, barrel and the power core.
EA made the sandbag, base, and the Housecolor skins.
Poly count is 316
Get the model here under the "Models" section.

All it would need is a reversal just a bit. The front and sides would be sandbagged in sort of like it is now. and the rear would have a little mini-power supply where the tiny pillbox is. The mini-power supply would have that glowing control rod look.
Also, on the top of the turret, there looks to be some sort of vent, possibly. I would recommend another such vent opposite it on the left hand side.
I really really think that this is a much more cooler and believable model for the Sledgehammer.
Does any one else agree with me on this? I would recommend a poll just see what everyone thinks.
Nice job on the cool looking model.

Well I wont use this model, I will make a new one version of it, and add a few more of my new skins to it, and the reason behind me not using it, is because I told Hunter I wouldn't and I'm a man of my word, I can just change the Housecolors and some other things, I'll bump up the detail and stay around 600 polys which is the norm. for Defences. I'll add sand bags all the way around it, then make holes in those for the instruments, I probably wont add another Vent on the opposite side because to many holes in the metal plating would drastically reduce the toughness of it. Plus this is the size of a patriot, it would be huge as a firebase, and I'm talking the gun would be at about the height of aircraft if I scaled it up.
Sorry to see you let that one go. The Guardian Turret is one of the best looking models yet, in my opinion. Hunter your one lucky dog.
I love the Guardian Turret's barrel design, it looks just right for a heavy weapon, and the detailing along the rear of the turret is cool. Sort of looks like an instrumentation package to me, even though I realize it wasn't meant to be that.
It will be interesting to see what new and cool model you come up with to replace the Superweapon general's Sledgehammer firebase with. If you decide to go that way in the end.
The Guardian Turret: 10/10 in my book.
May she have a long and happy life in another mod.
