I would love to play C&C 3, but my video card is one of the video cards the game specifically doesn't support by name. The Nvidia GeoForce MX series. So I'm out of luck. I'd buy a new card, but I've run into another problem. All the 'supported' video cards listed on EA's website are all either AGP or PCI Express slotted bus cards. My machine is slightly older, and it only has standard PCI bus cards. So again I'm out of luck. I'll have to wait and buy a new machine in order to play C&C3, Joint Task Force, and a host of other newer high-end games that I've been looking at lately.

Fracking bummer. :thumbsupsmiley:

Oh well... It looks like I'll be spending some quality time playing Zero Hour and Project Raptor for the next year or two 'til I can scrape up some buckaroos for a new PC, video card, and a copy of C&C3.

Double fracking bummer. :crazed: :lol:

Does anyone, and i mean ANYONE, think that Operation: Sting of the Scorpion is just a joke, like for April Fool's Day?

Its not, simply put, and i've already spent 12 hours on this beautiful map. I'm doing a third update on it now, check the thread for more info.

The worse case scenario's are that VG has died, has computer has gone bye bye and he hasn't been abl;e to get a new one yet and can't get on one to tell us, he's on vacation somewere, and finally, he's givin up on this and hasn't even bothered to tell us.

I'm sorry but that's all I can think of as the reasons why VG hasn't been around in months.

Bob buy a nividia 5500. Thats what I have and I can play it. I also only have PCI slots, luckily I found a card that was supported.

the geforce 6600 is quite cheap nowadays and its fantastic... a poor man's 6800 ultra but still gets the job done...

Im running all of my games fine on the nvidia 6600. Not with best graphics, but good enough graphics for me.:p
