That was Delta right? Yep, just a joke.

He means Vanguard (PR mod leader), he made it very clear that the GLA will not get an air force beyond the tech airfield, but he did hint at some sort of chopper.

Yes, one may or may not be on the way for the Tech_Airfield. No confirmation of that though at this time. It was something that was proposed once again just recently.

I would go with the Mi 24"Hind", its an excelent chopper, and also as a transport for an attack heli.

The Huey is, for some reason, a GLA unit. I fool around in the worldbuilder too much.

Well,

Uh-1"Huey", acctualy won the eternal fame in the Vietnam War, its acctualy like an old school multirole (civil/military) utility helicopter with the twin-engine relibility.But on the military side, its a light attack/forward air control unit. Not much weapons packing since its a light attack heli. But it'll be usefull for taking transporting troops like the Ka-29"Helix".Soo it should be good on the transport unit, but not like a gunship or attack one.

I've done a quick test usage of it. it has a small helix type mac gun and is able to carry 4 troops. can also do combat drop. problem is, it doesn't know how to land, so you cant load anything into it.

Answer A. That's why we need more maps, and map makers, folks. So we can have all these cool little techy structures on them. If you make a map, submit it to Vanguard so he can determine whether or not it's good enough to bundle in with the next versions of PR as an 'official' map.

Answer B. It's not that difficult to go edit non-PR maps using world builder and place the tech stuff on the map, if your interested in playing with the tech stuff. I do that all the time. It's not hard to do.

I have decidophobia sometimes with what side I use, so I like to drop a dozer bay next to my start location.

Huey: Yes, that should be in for someone as a light recon/transport chopper.

Yes, its fun playing two (or more) different sides at once. As long as you have a big enough map with plenty of build space, that is. I like playing US and USAF together. Sometimes, I like playing USAF and China Infantry gens together.

What about for the gunship/ or attack heli. ?

For the Tech_Airfield? Yes, that was one of the suggestions I sent to Vanguard recently when the chopper realignment discussions were going on. I brought up the possibility of using the AH-60 attack blackhawk as 'a prize' for capturing the Tech_Airfield for the U.S. side, instead of eliminating the Blackhawks outright from the game. Also brought up the Huey for the Tech_Airfield, but I'm not sure if that ones going to fly though. We'll see what happens during the next few versions of PR.

Since the Huey is confused we may have to re-code it with some Chinook methods to make it work. But that would probably work. He's added more transports before.

I usually focus on Laser Gen for defense (no stray missiles over my base) and Air Force to attack. Sometimes, just for fun, I form an assault group of every unit in the game that doesn't need a gen power.

Was it the Mi-24 Hind someone suggested? That could be on the tech airfield for the GLA.
