Its a great idea also, since the Mi-17 Hip is on other transport unit, it can be armed with rocket pods for a lil' defence like the Uh-60. But the "Hind" can carry up some soldiers also about 4 of them.

The Hind can carry up to 8 troops with individual weapons. That should be a great for the "Flying Infantry Combat Vehicle".

As noted, I think Prince Kassad, being royalty, would have much more money, contacts, influence, and power, to get advanced weapons more easily than the other GLA sides, therefore he would be the exception to the rule above. I also think that he should be the one to have a fully buildable GLA air force (upto and including old migs) at his disposal. Sorta, kinda, the GLA's version of an air force general if you will. I don't think that this would be a strech of imagination by any means. Quite a plausible idea, if you stop and think about it.
Anyway, getting back to the Huey for all other GLA sides, what I think is plausible, is the unarmed version of the Huey, as well as other unarmed helos such as TV news choppers, lifeflights, private civilian choppers, etc... .
These are much more easily found and 'acquired' than military brand helos, and therefore could be considered as a buildable item for the GLA and Militia sides.
Again, unarmed at first, and then, perhaps, become armed (through creative civilian welding of weapons onto civilian helocopters), on an individual chopper basis later in the game. After of course the upgrade becomes available at lets say the black market. Or perhaps even later than that when, lets say, a scud-storm structure is built.
For the record, just so there's no misunderstanding here. These posts that I make about the Huey are my personal thoughts on the subject, and not a glimpse of what's coming up for PR anytime in the near future. There is no guarentee at all of seeing a buildable Huey in the game. That's up to Vanguard alone, as it should be.
Bottom line don't get your hopes up about seeing a buildable Huey. It may not happen.
