China ZTZ-104 tank

China ZTZ-104 tank is new tank for Flame general. It replaces Firefly. It have no any special abilities and features. It is simply usual tank.

It looks quite modern, but seems more like European tank than Chinese.

Does is still keep the Flame Shells as its primary attack and does it still get the Reactive Shells upgrade?

I'm thinking about it. First variant have no flame neither reactive shells. But it is not final version. Also I'm not sure about its owner. Maybe to give it to Tank general...

The old battlemaster has already been replaced with the war master
Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

I think it should have fire shells after upgrade, because it gives more unit variety/ function for each general's units

Hey don't you know that most recent (or modern)Chinese weapons seem to be likely European-based than Russian-based weapons you know?(Man, I thought you are working with military or something)

I have no any links. I simply saw how specialists were discussing perspective Chinese tank projects on one of the forums. There were ZTZ-99-140 (with 140mm cannon) and ZTZ-104 with engine in its forward part. The only thing I have is 2 schemes with inscriptions in Chinese.

The TZT-104 name is too dumb sounding, use a regular name like all the C&C games did. 
What tould kick a's is that you should give it double barrel and give it to the tank general !?

Yes, this project really exists, and since PRC is too secretive about it's new developments, i guess any concept may be considered as a potential new tank.
ZTZ-104 however is not an appropriate PLA designation - those names could have only 2 digits in them, the only exception are the vehicles commissioned in 2000 (ZLC-2000, LD-2000). If this tank was commissioned in 2004, then it's name would be ZTZ-04.

At the moment the next coming main battle tank in China is the Type/ZTZ-99A2 which has a more bulky turret compared to the previous ZTZ-99 and 99A1 which are in servive for a few years. Another big change is the chassis. It has rectangle frontlights and the rear section looks much more of a Western tank now. for more information, please check at Sinodefence.com
