That must kinda suck for the people, but good that they're recovering. Perhaps they should have another beer, they named a beer brand after that area (there's a Dutch beer brand called Bavaria).

For a strange reason the worst beers in the world manage to sell best I mean:
Budweiser is the biggest brand.. seriously its worse than Heineken
And Heineken comes second.. sad world..

I rather have a Stella Artois but I really prefer a good abbey beer, like Leffe.
Or a Duvel. Those last are both 8%.
I once saw a Japanese drink on of those like a normal beer. He suddenly got a nice red collour.

You're teetotal...you can't talk Only lager is pale enough to look anything like urine. True bitter is actually really dark. And then there's Guinness, which is definitely the most disgusting substance ever fermented.

I don't drink because I don't like the taste of it for one (be it beer, whine, ouzo or whatever) and two because I prefer to stay in control of my own body thank you. That's the main reasons.

Why don't you start with something light then Blaat (like i have) like Smirnoff Ice? It tastes just like lemonade. Or Orange Bacardi Breezer its like fizzy orange juice

I tried a mix of orange juice and Passoa once, but I didn't like it (I do like orange juice). I don't like the taste of lemonade. I'm fine by drinking what I drink, I don't need alcohol.

Pasoa is stronger than breezers etc.. you can actually taste the alcohol.. yer need to get used to that

Most of it was orange juice, it had only a little bit of Passoa in it. But I'm fine drinking nonalcoholic drinks.

Try wine, or a little bit of lager with a lot of lime. Lager, and some stronger stuff, are an acquired taste.

And as for control...you only lose control the same way as you do with anything: By taking too much of it. Too much of anything is bad for you. Too much cholesterol? You get heart attack. Too much fatty foods? You get fat. Too much smoking? You get lung cancer. Too much alcohol? You get drunk. Too much vitamin A? You get toxic shock.

The difference is the amounts of each substance which is considered 'too much'. And for each person, this amount is different. I knew someone once who got pissed on coke...which isn't alcoholic. By the same token, I also know someone who can drink twelve pints plus a couple of double whiskeys and still be standing. It's called knowing one's limits. And it's only the minority who are of an aggressive disposition anyway who become violent. Most people just mellow out and relax. And with your disposition and demeanour, there's more chance of me getting pregnant than of you getting violent

I've tried wine. I was young and thought it was grape juice .

I, too, doubt I'd get violent. That's not it. But I don't want to become another person than I am or act differently because I'm under the influence of something. I remember when I first took my medication.. The second day I was constantly having this big smile for no reason.. I don't want things like that anymore. And that's a positive thing.

Those two reasons are enough for me. I can survive without alcohol. Only thing I'd need it for is cleaning the glass at practical .
