I like . Is it tough to make a background like that? Or would you know a tutorial for it? I'd like to give it a try (but so far everything I tried didn't even remotely look even okayish imo ).

Not really. The background is just brushes from DeviantArt and then i fiddled around with it to add more depth (curves,brightness/contracts etc) then coloured. How ever, there is some more kinda background in it that is sorta hard to see, which is smudging from the render then messed around with it.

Today i've been experimenting with shading whilst i do some of my cameos, but for before i move onto cameos i thought i'd try my hand at doing a larger scale version...

its kinda my first sig, what do you all think? good render for pxl stretching, ignore the little white lines near the right i kinda got bored

something I did way back in the good old days of psp5

alot of people I showed it to then refused to beleive I'd done it until I showed them the psp file with the alpha layers

it's supposed to be an explosion in space, maybe a planet or an astroid or something, something made of rock as evidenced by the clowed of debree.

Thats pretty good. If you have the letters changing from one to another on one spot you can use it for you avatar

I have some constructive criticism for your latest piece, Xeno. If you fix the vanishing point for the water, give it more depth, it would be a little better. I like the coloring though.
