Aircraft support sttstems are large, USA. I say we put in... Oh, say, 12. And my version will use fighters...
And I swear we could put in more guna than that. Anti-Ship and AA missiles perhaps? (AA missiles>guns) What of smaller turrets?

The thing is, I'm using the aircraft design its a transport aircraft.

This is much more acceptable.
The weaponry is currently fine. It doesn't overpower the vessel, and the V/STOL (I would recommend STOVL, but that's just me) planes will help bolster the vessel's normal armament.
It would be pretty easy to render the guns useless primarily on the fact that it won't be able to shoot its own deck So it has a weakness. 
I find this certainly more acceptable than your old design It would probably not destroy the entire planet's economy

Yes, perhaps we should have a moratorium on sources. If you find a source like that, nobody else should use similar designs without permission. It would cut down on source "grabbing".Aren't those already in Ali's plans?

PS. Would it overstep the bounds of I put a couple of these on board for ship protection?

I agree with your proposal, except for the fact that I searched for drawings/schematics of Warships for probably an hour yesterday, after trying to create my own via paint ( ) which turned out scary to say the least. Perhaps just not being able to use the same illustrations would be a better proposition.
