Yes. I never actually understood why Peter Jackson didn't took that into consideration to make the movies, though. It would have been cool to see Saruman fighting Gandalf at Orthanc wearing a iridescent robe.
Anyways, the effect looks AWESOME, and combined with Matias' texture it's just perfect. Now Saruman will be as cool as he should have been since BfME1!
