The view alignment will show you which way is forward. Red arrows I think, can't remember. In oder to make the bones dissappear, you have to click all the bones and under the export section click on "bones" so the game knows they are bones.
Your turret needs to be a seperate object and the name of the mesh is what is coded in the turret code in the ini. Hope this answers some...

- in the top viewport, the tank should be facing to the right.
- make sure pivots are aligned to world.
- with all bones selected, hit the utilities tab on the right toolbar (looks like a hammer), hit the W3D Tools button and uncheck the box labelled Export Geometry.
- make sure your turret mesh is a separate object linked to (not attached to) the chassis. Make sure it's named correctly.
All of this stuff is explained in detail in the tutorial, I don't understand how so many people are missing it!!

Maybe if they were written in proper English then people wouldn't have such a hard time understanding it.
Is there the same tuts written in proper english some where?

Well i must atleast someone makes a tutorial for boneing and such and i have done the tutorial myself and i found it really read able. And my main langauge is not english(dutch looks like german).
So don't go saying the use of inproper english when someone try's to help people. And if you still have trouble ask him nicely if he could "fix" the typos he made . Anyways i shouldn't be bothered with this but in someway iam .
Anyways, maybe you could just rotate it another way unitl it is isn't sideway's anymore. But you should wait till on of the pro's comes with an awnser .
Oh and btw the stuff you quoted is PROPER english. so please make sure you can read english.
