Hello, folks. I'd like to get some help for my problem:
I've created a new faction with same method as a tutorial for it in this forum (this one http://forums.revora...howtopic=21852), so a new faction uses the system (every structure, unit and science) of one of the existing one, but now - I have a problem: can someone give a simple tutorial for adding, or at least, cloning a unit/structure from other factions? I'd be grateful if you can. Also, the science part is little bit weird for me - I've tried to make my own science by copying other techs (at start to see if it works), but all I have tried to do (and fixed afterwards), is an application crash.
Help adding units into brand new faction

copy and paste old units then look at commandbutton for the keyword construct then put the commandbutton name on a commandset then give the commandset to a factory

It ain't that easy; if I change the object in there, the original faction will have it replaced too :/

no dont change any of the orginal units just copy the orginal paste them change the name of the object and edit it and if you want a new fraction go in player template and copy and paste an orginal fraction then paste rename it and edit the side then go to ControlBarScheme.ini and copy and paste an orginal control bar if you copy a usa one ull get a usa if you copy a china one ull get a china same with gla but make sure u put the same side in the controlbar as in your new fraction
easy a pie
