Example---
1st Post (by BobExample):
You stand at the edge of a canyon with a forest behind you. To the northis the forest, to the south the canyon (with a stream at the bottom), and to the west a bridge across the canyon. the east looks too crumbly for travel.

2nd Post (by BillyExample):
>Go east.
3rd Post (By SallyExample):
The ground crumbles and you find yourself at the bottom of the canyon with a bump on the head, on the shore of the gushing stream. A man in a black cloak stands, his back turned.
>Enter Command?
4th Post (by OTherExampleGuy):
>Dive into river.
End Example---
Yeah, then someone else posts results of that action, and so on. This can go funny, serious, et cetera.
Rules for this thread:
1. Make sure you could do what you command and that any results are realistic. Be creative-- Perhaps our character can transform into a fish because he's dreaming? Et cetera.
2. Proper grammar=Must.
3. Even though I'm the creator of this particular text adventure, it's ordered around by players.
4. Have fun.
BTW, I was inspired by the Zork Trilogy to do this.
Now, BEGIN!
------Beginning------
Vast Plain
You stand in the center of a vast plain, with grasees all around you. To the north lies a forest with a strange mountain int the distance. South, some trees and then a vast desert. to the east, a house stands with a sign labeled, "Keep Out". The west appears to be the site of a wide river.

With bloody knuckles, you are relieved by the emptying of your bladder. Blood and piss, however, is not a pleasant sight, especially when the sign is still standing, and you are getting the splashback.
