None of the mods were made for patch 1.03 and I haven't ported any of them yet.

lol, for some reason that sounds funny. Yes, it runs on patch 1.03
And as an update, Shadows of Evil now runs on patch 1.03 as well.

I downloaded 2 of your mods, and when I tried using them, it didn't work. Something to do with an alert about INI files and having to close the game down. Any help, please? I'm not that great with all this stuf.

Well first off, which two mods did you download and install? Secondly, have you made any changes to your game, ie any personal mods, or perhaps you downloaded and installed the Elvenstar mod?

Yeah, sorry mate. It was the Shadow of Evil, and Minas Morgul Mods. Oh wait and I think i got a Haldir one too. When I tried started one of them up, it came up with an error message about problems with INI files or summat.
I haven't made any personal mods no, but I can't play online either, it says I need a new update, and then tries to connect to something and fails. I don't know what this thing it's trying to connect to is, 'cus I've never gotten there.

It must be trying to download the patches. Since all the mods require one patch or another, you can't get the mods until you can get them. Sorry

Ahh great, now I have another problem. I can't seem to download any files, even stuff that aren't associated with the game or owt. It just pauses halfway through a download then say "The operation timed out." ANyone have a clue what's going on?

What it sounds like to me is that you just have a bad internet connection. I wouldn't know how to fix it.

For some reason the shadow of evil mode works weirdly on my pc it has random purpel squeres insted of images on new thins...
That's an issue of the artwork not loading properly, but I'm not sure why it would have any problems. Is there anything different about your bfme set up? Different install location or other mods installed or personal mods? You installed the mod to the location it provided right?
