Actually, I don't play cs:s, I have played cs but I prefer DoD. I also play WarRock (www.warrock.net for those who haven't heard of it), a little Guild Wars, and I'm planning on getting BF2142 soon (reminds me of Tribes, I played a lot of Tribes years ago).

What do you think of War Rock? I came across it in the latest PC Gamer, and was thinking about checking it out, but the site was a bit of a turn off. It looks a lot like a BF2 clone to me, but with money involved in some way that they didn't really explain well.

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

When I first played and reviewed it, I didn't give it all that great a review. Points deducted for unoriginality. But, as it's been updated and I've played it more, I really enjoy it. It is still very similar to BF but it's still a lot of fun.

I might have to check it out then. Of course, that's after I kick my Civ 4 addiction...

Heh, I loved Civ2, but I can't get by with any of this new-fangled culture stuff. Seems unfair that cities can turn against you just because they like another nation's plays and architecture.

You actually played Civ4 or what? Cities can only turn against you when they are under some really hard cultural press from your neighbour. That means basically having your cities surrounded by their borders, which is a really hard thing to do for them unless your city sucks.

TBH it's a good feature. Imagine how unfair it would be for someone to set cities in various unclaimed 1 tile spots in the middle of your homeland, and then stacking his army there while you aren't watching.

ARGUMENT FROM CREATION, a.k.a. ARGUMENT FROM PERSONAL INCREDULITY (I)
(1) If evolution is false, then creationism is true, and therefore God exists.
(2) Evolution can't be true, since I lack the mental capacity to understand it; moreover, to accept its truth would cause me to be uncomfortable.
(3) Therefore, God exists.

Greetings, quite glad to see a tribes fan. I'd advise against 2142 unless you want to invest an ungodly amount of time into it to get half the kits up to usable standards.

And of course, stay off the grass and enjoy your stay.

not an issue, I figure most of the nubes about revora usually pick up 2-3 year dead posts so reviving ones thats not 2 months old isn't going to raise any eyebrows :)

having said that, let me say welcome, good to meet you, and umm, all that other stuff. I know I'm a crazy red headed australian but don't let that scare you off if you want some freindly conversation, which admittedly is about all I'm useful for XD.
