¿what is it?
It is a tool to get the images of existing tmps. You can edit these images in photoshop and then import them back into the tmps. The new images should have the same shape of the originals. That means, when a pixel in the original was transparent, it should be transparent in the new image. But it's no problem, when a pixel was not transparent in the original and is now transparent in the new image.
Or you simply use it as an tmp viewer .
what is it not?
It's no tool for creating whole new tmp files and it's no final version

It’s only really good for beginners & ppl that use batch conversions, the XCC tools are a lot more useful :/
But it is useful IMO, not everyone is a pro modder

Sorry my ego got the better of me, let me rephrase that... It’s a great program for beginners to start with & also editing files on mass.
jep... i made it to replace tiles on mass
i know, that it isn't the right tool for creating new tmps
The name of the editor needs to be changed since it's pretty much the same name as the XCC one.
well... actually there is no official name... the website says "cnc tmp tool" the animated gif says "cnc tmp editor" and the applicationwindow says "Tmp Image Changer"
And i think, the last one fits best. Because it's what it does: changing the images
But i'm open for all suggestions.
If i've time, i will work on a really full working editor to produce whole new tmps this year.
But it will be different tool with different purpose. I think, more little tools for specific tasks are better than a huge all-in-one tool. But the new tool will also support drag&drop. So you can drag a tmp out of the Tmp Image Changer and drop it into the new editor. There you can for example merge tiles of more tmps to one new tmp... or whatever
well... so much to future plans
