Sorry if this isn't the right forum for this but I thought that it fit best here.

This new game from the makers of EAW is going to have robots... which will probably make it much easier to code in gundams/ms. Hopefully they will have robots that can fly and use melee attacks. From what I read it sounds like a game called Metal Fatigue (one of the coolest games ever). Just thought that I would bring this up in case someone didn't know about it.

Wow, color me impressed!

and comes out end of this year you say? hmmmmm.....

I like the idea of more story driven gameplay than eaw, to say nothing of the giant robots.

Dosn't look like at the moment it has space battles though... Maybe a sequel to Gundam Legacy? only time will tell.:)

it doesn't have space battles which is a pity.

although as long as the ground combat is better than EAW than i'll be moderately happy, EAW's ground combat is pretty bad.

he was suggesting that perhaps it would be easier to work with that since it already uses mechs...

it doesn't really matter that YOU posted it days ago.

Oh it said that there aren't space battles? That sucks I completely missed that... almost makes my idea useless now since I like space battles the most...

Eh.. im not blown away. Sounds like their taking everything innovative they did with EAW and going back to same ol' stuff everyone else is doing. Im sure there are better games we could find if we decide to do a sequel in the future.

not much was innovative in EAW, all they did was put two preexisting battle types together, space and land.

UAW sounds more innovative, there's alot of stuff the petroglyph guys have talked about that isn't in those scans.

Yea EAW wasnt as mind blowing as they made it out to b.

this game looks interesting but i do find the big robots weird lookin n kinda reaks of cylons from battlestar galactica lol but wat is a scifi stratergy these days without space combat?!!

They could add space battles in an expansion.

I doubt it. it's hard to ass another battle system to a pre-existing program.

UaW: Earth Assault is only the beginning of the game, there will be more, maybe the next UaW will have space battles :good: .

If they put space battles in, there is a high chance we would switch over to UaW. Just because there are improved aspects to the engine to ease the excessivly difficult moding of EAW's alamo engine. One example would be proceedual animations.
