Map Question

If i create new maps and add their names to a .pkt file, do the maps have to be in .map format?

i think so, yes.

also a neat trick is that you can place the .map files and the .pkt file in a mix file of the same name as the .pkt, then rename the extention to .yro, this way you have the entire map pack in its own fully functional mix file. however, you still need string table entries.

the reason why you would want to place them in .YRO files is because multiple .PKT files loose in the RA2 directory causes a "Multiple map listing" bug.
