Hello !
I'm having problems running demo, I get this message: "Nie znaleziono punktu wejscia procedury GetVolumePathNamesForVolumeNameW w bibliotece KERNEL32.dll."
My specs:
Opteron 144, 1GB RAM, DFI NF4 Ultra-D, Geforce 7600GT, W2K SP4.
Any help would be appreciated.

The C&C3 demo doesn't run on Windows 2000. :(

Yes, I have latest directx9 drivers.
edit: Thanks for answer. Is it already known that a full version will require XP/Vista OS ? Or maybe w2k will be also compatible ?

REQUIRED SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS:
· OS: Windows XP, Windows Vista (32-bit; 64-bit versions of
Vista are not supported)
· CPU: 2.0 GHz or higher
· RAM: 512 MB or more
· Hard Drive: 1.4 GB or more of free space
· Video: DirectX 9.0c compatible video card. Video card with 64
MB or more memory and one of these chipsets is required: ATI
8500 or greater, NVIDIA GeForce4 or greater. (ATI Radeon 9200
and 9250 PCI, NVIDIA Geforce 4 MX cards not supported.)
· Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card
Sorry but your windows 2k wont cut it here, you need to get XP atleast
and i wouldnt hold my breath for support in full retail game either for w2k, its like microsoft (dropped all support afaik)

The only written law in a C&C game I ever saw is please Mr.Developer make it fun and give me a lot of **** to explode, o and don't you ever get another soul to play Kane but Joe Kucan. Aside from those two rules, all bets are off =) hehe

hi guys im gunna try this here coz over on EA furums they take to long to get back to me..........
right i can download, install and do the tutorial fine, no probs, however every single time i either try to do a mission or get about 5mins into a skirmish the game goes back to desktop and brings up that Demogame.dat has encounted a problem and and need to close then i the option to send off a error report.
i kno my specs arent very good but i might be getting a comp rather soon. i got a dell inspiron 6000 laptop with
1.45 GHz CPU - i know it ment to be 2 GHZ but many people say they can play it on even lower then me!
XP pro-upgraded
1 gig ram
50.1 hard drive space left
i think i got an ATI radeon 8000 - i can do 3v1 hard on skirmish on higghest graphics with no lag lol
directX 9
it is very, very annoying as i really badly want to 'try b4 i buy' but i cant, and im sure it will work becuz i can do the tutorial, stange.
thanks for any help.

CnC3 has abysmal support for 6600s it seems (that can be the only thing I can think of that'd possibly be an issue in my system), performance is terrible for me, and I'm well above the 'System Requirements' :(
