Nert lived in France for a year and he met many Frenchmen, and they were mostly pleasant chaps.

Thank you Nert :)

Anyway the 4th july doesn't stay really in France memory...

Happy birthday Dain! ;)

the main reason i included a thank you to France was because it seems that people don't like them/give the credit where they deserve it.

I had quite never noticed this. Not that I had ever studied it :mad2:

and I don't care what anyone says Gérard Depardieu is over rated why is he cast in every French movie ever made.

While saying he is present in every French movie is a little exaggerated (you probably get the worst ones then ;)), I must admit he is indeed overrated.
Actors that can play the role of mid-aged men (50-60) are very rare (down to 3 or 4), so he gets a lot of phone calls.

I found it weird that he was cast as Obelix in the Asterix movie.
He's short in real life I believe,it makes me wonder if the guy who played Asterix was a Hobbit ....Child.
Oh and Canada should be made to apologize for Bryan Adams to the UN.

Well a lot of the constenants are pronounced quite softly, so I think that's what he means.

And is Depardieu more over-rated than Johnny Halliday? :p

OMG there's constenants in french
I'll use plateau as an example there are vowels (though they work as 2) in a word with 2 syllables.
It's just something i've noticed.
