Hm...actually destroy isnt much bigger i think. Destroy is roughly 60m tall, and a normal Ms is around 16-8m. Destroy beats it in bulk, then again it might be less sturdy. I dunno what whoever designing destroy was thinking...the moment it trips and lands on its back, that massive shell's going to snap off.

well the fact is how hard it would be to actually trip that thing other than killing it?

seriously to trip someone means they will walk over some sort of trap or something like that, not gonna work when the object in question has the ability to fly.




Think about this, AT-ATs only got tripped because they have to keep walking on land, if those things can fly the Rebels would be Proper-Fucked. (Starwars for anyone ignorant enough to not know what a fucking ATAT is, Hell this mod is based on Starwars EAW so for anyone not to know it would be dumb lol.)

I remember that in the intervening time between EP III and IV the Imps phased out the Juggernaught and started bringing in Flying Fortresses. Basically the same concept as At-Ats, except they hovered. At-At's are superior in terms of armor and firepower and they were actually harder to bring down, since a flying object is more prone to crashing than a walker, no matter how you build it.

Well...what i meant about Destroy is that lets say some jock who gets close enough and has a slash zaku slices off one of the feet. Destroy would most likely come tumbling down, since it doesnt seem to have full use of its boosters in MS mode. Everytime i see it in the show, in MS mode it only lowers itself to a standing position, which implies it can only slow its fall in MS mode.

still, what are the chancesof that ever happening? I mean a regular grunt MS getting through its defenses. I remember watching an entire army getting blown to pieces by Stellar, lol

I guess the chances are pretty low. But i doubt thats the thing's cheap. Personally, i wouldn't approve the fielding of the thing after comparing cost to the chances of it being tripped up. But i guess its evident of EAF that they weren't thinking very sensibly around that time...or just about any time...
