Yep, all done now, just a couple that need scaling, and all need screenies!

Watch this space...

Not even the names.... o no, Migeater's getting lazy ;)

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Andre 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Forgotten Hope
great BF42 mod
http://forgottenhope.bf1942files.com

their ho-ki:
http://pacificshores...HoKi_layout.jpg

well it looks similar, but the voxel feels too tall and short, and japanese(light and medium) tanks are mostly short with the turret in the middle, right now your chi-ha looks more like a t34 with the turret in front(maybe it's because it's too long, there seems to be too much space behind)

here's a page i just found with a lot of japanese scale models
http://www.clandavid.../japanmodel.htm

should be good for reference

... Apart from the Ho-Ki having a canvas roof covering, it is the same proprtion as that model you've posted... :? Check one of the pix I worked from below.

The length of a T-34 is about 6m, and the Chi-Ha is some 5.5m (approx). It has already been stated that the T-34 that Mig made needs to be a shade longer.

I appreciate any source of information; thanks  . I generally prefer real photos or techinical drawings though as they are more reliable. Model kits are notoriously inaccurate.

T-34 is right BTW, I went back & checked it (but it’s about the only right one). I have to agree with Godwin a bit, it could do with being 1-2 pixels longer, but then again so could most of my vxl's...

Model kits are notoriously inaccurate.

hardcore model makers make sure their kits are of the best quality and are accurate, these "hard core"-as i call them-models will usually be complex and have very nice painting and labelling, and even placed in a realistic modelled environment, or a diorama

i use them alot for skinning, together with photos and blueprints of course since their photos and shots are of higher quality and sometimes zoom in on hard-to-see areas

Most "hard core" model makers could tell you the names of the tank crews, were it was made, were it was destroyed, what division it was in & normally take about a year to make there masterpiece :)
