Faction. They're just too cool to not put into the mod. Besides, they besieged the Dwarves of the Iron Hills and Erebor.
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

Faction. I actually never saw Rhun as a faction in any mod, it would be cool to have Rhun as a faction.

Rhun is just to cool to not have their own faction.

Yes, but if it's a faction what could it's minifactions be? The only sensible one that I can think of is Khand.

The old world will burn in the fires of industry! The forests will fall! A new order will rise...we will drive the machine of war with the sword and the spear and the iron fist of the Orc! We have only to remove those who oppose us...

While Rhun is indeed cool what would its minifactions be? if you follow that each main factioin will have some different branches, what would rhuns be. that is the only problem i see

Well i was looking through wikipedia and the lord of the rings trilogy (books) and I think I have some ideas for minifactions:

Khand
Balchoth
Wainriders
Kataprahkts

Now balcoth was a race of easterlings and the wainriders were an allegiance of tribes and the kataprakts were some horsemen but i couldnt find anything else.
But one question, i thouht that Rhun was just everything east of rhovanion, and when i was reading it said that too, so I think you should change the name to Men of the East or something because its just too general

6% of teenagers today are a bunch of informed NERDS, if you are one of the 94% who actually reads cheap magazines and a couple of schoolbooks, or anything besides the paper, copy and paste this into your signature.

90% of teens today would die if Myspace had a system failure and was completely destroyed. If you are one of the 10% that would be laughing, copy and paste this into your signature.

I think Khand would be more likely to be a minifaction of Harad, though. Khand and Rhun have all of Mordor between them, while Harad and Khand are right next to each other.

But one question, i thouht that Rhun was just everything east of rhovanion, and when i was reading it said that too, so I think you should change the name to Men of the East or something because its just too general

Men of the East is even more general, that would include Rhun and the lands south of Mordor, such as Harad and Khand.

Sorry if it sounds like I'm trying to tear your comment apart, I'm just trying to help :p

No, thanks fur correcting me, its just that When i was reading, it said that rhun was also occupied by some dwarves and elves "dark elves", but ther only called that because they didnt see some light or something

Ah, that's in the Simirillion :). It was forever since I read it, but the Dark Elves did not cross the great sea from the lands of the Eldar, while the Light Elves did (the Noldor and Sindar), I believe ;).

Make Rhun its own faction! The minifactions should be:

Khand: Variags (including mercenaries), Heroes are: Keiseimu, Variag Captain, Variag Mercenary Chief

Dorwinion: Balchoth put in infantry and siege weapons, Wainriders put in cavalry and wainwagons (transports)

Swarthy Men: Wild Men out of the East (green armor [without helmet] over brown clothes, heads swathed in tan cloth)

As for the main faction, heroes should be:
>King Ruldaath
>Pallando the Blue
>Khamul the Easterling
>Captain Tumna

Units:
Easterling Warriors
Easterling Archers
Easterling Pikemen
Easterling Marksmen
----------------------
Easterling Kataphrakts
Easterling Lancers
Easterling Archer-Knights
Easterling Charioteers
----------------------
Soldiers of Rhun
Easterling Axemen
Black Dragon Guards
----------------------
Ballistas
Siege Towers

Buldings:
Wind Mill
Barracks
Stables
Temple
Factory
Battle Tower
Wall Hub
>Gate
>Tower
>Ballista
>Postern Gate
>Wall Hub
Fortress
>Buiders
>Expansions=Tower, Ballista, Hall, Wall Hub
>Upgrades=Barbed Munitions, Banners, House of Restoration, King's Tower

Unit Upgrades:
Banner Carrier
Stainless Steel Blades
Stainless Steel Armor
Flaming Arrowheads (spreads fire when bombarding)
Barbed Arrows (permanently increases damage done by archery-units)

That's how Rhun should be. ^_^
