ok, ive been on final alert 2, trying for the first time tiriggeres, ect
i found these in taskforce or teams
3 missings at start
apace(missing)
DeathDummy()
utnk(zzz unused)
WeedGuy(chem spray infantry)
YDUM(missing)
XCOMET(placeholder)
wut are they? i guess most of them dont work, or theyed be on maps like the holizer is, but can i get some more info on them, if anyone knows anything, im just curious really

They are dummy units that make sure certain weapons work correctly like cluster weapons and fragment weapons like the prism tanks.

It's 'Apache', not 'Apace'.
- APACHE - the Nod Harpy - a leftover from Tiberian Sun. Present in the AircraftTypes list, but its own section is commented out.
- DeathDummy - the default death weapon for all units. Used to make the DeathWeapon logic work.
- UTNK - the Soviet Lunar Tank - removed from the game before release.
- WEEDGUY - the 'Chem Spray Infantry'. Not actually a unit, used as a placeholder to make the Nuclear Missile work.
- YDUM - Unknown, my guess is some sort of Yuri dummy unit.
- XCOMET - Used to make the 'bouncing lasers' and 'bouncing bolts' work. It contains the 'bouncing' weapon part as it needs to be parsed on a unit beforehand to work.

YDUM doesn't actually exists, presumably it was some yuri dummy unit, you can delete all reference to it and nothing will break.

death weapon logic? what is a death weapon? is it the weapon that it uses, or somthing eles, remember i havnt modded or anything, or gone snooping around the ini stuff, so plz explain in terms i can understand
what about the 3 missings at the start? anyone know what they are?
also dose the APACHE and UTNK work? or do they make the game crash/ somthing eles bad
also, i noticed a joke they were having on somebody, next time your in it look at the monkey code name thing (i cant remember what it is, but i know its somone name, i think it was Josh, i cant remember, and i cant check right now cause im on my other computer)

Some weapons such as shrapnel or the nuclear explosion need to be used elsewhere to work without error, don't know why. Maybe it's something do with an Owner, since they all spawn from something else rather than directly used.
Do not forget Weedguy was actually left over from TS and was originally going to be an infantry in the game with it's own, currently unused, SHP.

In Tiberian Sun, yes. If you have it, look in conquer.mix, it's SHP is weed.shp (cameo is weaticon.shp, not weedicon.shp - that's the Weed Eater).
