1. Can you put the walls that units can walk on in Battle for Middle-Earth 2?
2. If so, the mountable walls in Battle for Middle-Earth 1 were just about the best thing since sliced bread. They were amazing, and I think that they would have an awesome effect on the defensive abilities of a player. I think that they would be a great addition.
3. If not, that's horrible.

EDIT - Poll - The question should be:

I invite you to design walkable build-anywhere-walls, with several textures for snow and upgrades, elevators that you easily make buildable left or right, wallhubs that are actually passable, fitting expansions the preferably extend left or right instead of replacing the wall segment and becoming unpassable.

And for all of that we also need buildup animations, several damage states, damage and destroy/rubble models and animations and all of that for about 5 factions.

Feel free to start already. ;)

Though I have no experience whatsoever in modding, I know well enough that modders can only do so much in a huge mod such as this.

As of late, people have been requesting that the S.E.E. Team do things that clearly go beyond their area of expertise, such as this whole "units on walls" bit. Oh sure, the RJ Mod has them in it, but this isn't the RJ Mod (despite the fact that the creator of RJ has joined forces with S.E.E.).

The S.E.E. Team can only do so much, what with EA has so graciously provided... ;)

Unless a suggestion has anything to do with units, scaling of objects, strength of structures, or short animations, keepeth thy thoughts to thyself. ;)

Then S.E.E. mod is HORRIBLE! ;)

Seriously... Listen to Sûl ^ He's one of the elite coders of this whole community. Even if we'd join forces with the best modelers, animators and skinners as well, besides Robnkarla and his incredible coding skills... we'd still have a product that is as best extracted from BFME1. Noone would spend THAT much work just to get walls for all factions that can do all THAT (like Sûl listed) which would be nescessary to even consider it. SEE has spent a lot of energy in the fact that we now DO HAVE walls for each factions to begin with. Adding the BFME1 walls would not give walls to Mordor or Moria and noone would take the time to construct them. There's simply limits to how far modding goes as unpaid work ;)

Now, this topic has been discussed SO many times and there's no need to give further ground for more discussions about it. It simply won't happen! If we do things for SEE, we do it to 100%, and this is something that is simply not worth 100% cause it would take forever. Like I said, just be glad about the fact that we HAVE walls to beging with ;)

PS, I beleive that RJ-RotWK mod has BFME1 walls, so go check it out >>> HERE!
