I have a Vist pc and I'm not sure where to install the mod. Can I get some advice or a link to another topic where this is handled?

EDIT: Renamed topic! /Naz

ON page 2 in this forum or via the Search function you find this: http://forums.revora...showtopic=50640

But I'd try the new way first, as you can find in one of the pinned threads in this forum

Ok, I tried, but it only shows a folder titled, "My Lord of the Rings, Rise of the Witch-King Files"

I do have The Rise of the Witch-King, does that mean problems?

When I click on the shortcut (for the mod), it gives an error message that says, "E:\EA GAMES\the Battle for Middle-Earth ™ II\lotrbfme2.exe
The specified path does not exist.

Click the path, and then try again."

Aaand if you had actually READ my answer up there ^ you would have known that already :thumbsupsmiley:
I'm glad it works though. Just proves my point about the new revised intstallation method;
- Easier
- Quicker
- Better (stability)

First of all, you said you had followed the new installation instructions. Since it didn't work (the first time), you obviously made a mistake, that you have now (seemingly) rectified.
My question is this: What was your initial mistake? And how did you rectify it?
Your answer might give us a clue, what else you did wrong, or if you you did rectify the faulty installation properly. That way we might be able to help you.

P.S. Guys, if something is not working, please don't say you did everything as instructed. You obviously haven't, even if you think you did. Better give us a DETAILED step by step description of what you have actually done to install the game. Please. EVERY LITTLE STEP. It's important. Otherwise we will have to pry the information from your brains manually, a painful process for all involved. :p

OK OK I fixed that too :)

Yes you're absolutely right I did a mistake:p
I haven't installed the Patch 1.06 :wink_new:

Then I downloaded the Mod again and it worked
I think the old one was corrupted or something

i have installed the mod now, but it won't work at all... everytime when i want to start the game, it freezes and when i open my tasmanager, it says "not responding"... could it be because i have the BFME II Collector's edition??? Does the mod work with the collector's edition??? That's freakin me out...

Thenks for your replies!^^

The maker, Nazgul, used the Collector's Edition when he made the mod ;) He didn't realize that not everybody has it until a long time was gone ;)
So yes, it works with that :thumbsupsmiley:

But, I know Vista doesn't have the same way of playing mods as the previous has... But as SEE is installed in a folder, I would've thought it'd work...

OK... I'M sorry for saying that but I'm just too stupid^^ I played the mod on my XP PC and it worked perfectly...^^ But now on my Vista PC, I installed the game and tried to run the mod without a patch...

so it was my fault^^ I just forgot about the patch^^ And I got upset yesterday because it didn't work XD
Wow...

But thank you nevertheless!

I LOVE SEE!!!^^
