This post should have been done LONG ago... I'm sorry for the delay...
This section of SEE Forums have been the source of many problems and head aches, for both the SEE Team and you dear Fans & Players. Some of them might be cause I've not gotten around to do this post and displaying the rules and the disclaimer of the SEE Team involving this mod. Anyway, without further ado, here it is:
First of all - I hope you have seen the Welcome post for all new SEE Forum users HERE!
Now, before you post a request for Support, know and understand this:
S.E.E. SUPPORT RULES:
- This is a mod and not a retail game (but "merely" a mod OF a retail game)!
- The SEE Team are modders, not professional game developers!
- Thus ^ we are not paid to give support 24/7 to the players of this mod!
- Most of the time we are most likely occupied with work, school OR modding!
- We will give support when we can, meaning when we have time and/or motivation, and find the need!
- We will expect that YOU make an effort to find the solution to your problem in this forum PRIOR to you making a post/thread about it by simply:
1) Search this forum!
2) Read other threads with similar problems!
3) Show respect for the SEE Team and whoever is trying to help you!
(3 meaning do NOT raise your voice simply cause you can't get this mod to run!)
- We will also expect that you have downloaded, read and tried your best to use the new and revised Installation Instructions for SEE, found pinned in this forum! It is CRUCIAL that you read them CAREFULLY and take it step by step...
Also - make sure you've seen the Prerequisites from the ChangeLog in SEE News:
PREREQUISITES for S.E.E.:
- Original BFME2 Game!
- Latest EA Patch (1.06)
- No need for RotWK!
- Follow the revised Installation Instructions!
Unless you can say "OK" to all of the above, you can't expect us to help you in any great extent
The primary purpose of this forum (the Support forums) is actually to give you Fans a place to share knowledge and help eachother get this mod to run. The purpose is thus NOT that we should give support 24/7 or on demand - all according to what's been stated above ^ We will help when we can, but don't take it for granted... We'll do our best though, if you do the same!
