Where can we find the w3x file ?

Hello,

Some models are available in the Art_Pack released by EA but lot of another units aren't include.
I have search the big file which can probably contain its but no result.

Can you tell me where can I find all w3x files ?
If there are crypted, how can I decrypt there models ?

Simply said, you can't extract them.
There are some ways to extract parts or almost complete models I think, but they all require a lot of work with numerous conversions and stuff. I'm not sure if that's worth the time and effort. You'd probably rather just make new ones yourself.

Yeah, it's a pity. Or "c'est dommage" :xd:

It's not cool, in Zero Hour I loved to combine units :xd:
The result were good and I were motivated to continue my mod but C&C3 and its SDK were release and I must learn how to mod it :blush:

It's same as the begining of Zero Hour : hard and long but not impossible :cool2:

So, we must persever and kept the liver. ;)

You could try jonwil's .w3x decompiler but it will only work for some models.

There is no W3X importer plugin for 3ds max.
Also, the w3x decompiler will not produce correct usable output for any W3X file containing ShadeIndices data, BoneInfluences data or animation data.
