ARGUMENT FROM CREATION, a.k.a. ARGUMENT FROM PERSONAL INCREDULITY (I)
(1) If evolution is false, then creationism is true, and therefore God exists.
(2) Evolution can't be true, since I lack the mental capacity to understand it; moreover, to accept its truth would cause me to be uncomfortable.
(3) Therefore, God exists.

Plus, Only War has more content, not just the piss small amount in DoW.

Reason is because they all play differently. Dawn of War is a heavily micro intensive game, whereas Final Liberation is a leisure thinking game based on luck as well. Squad Command which is coming out is like a 40k X-Com game, simply put they all play differently. You can't say "why not buy just the one game" because some of us probably wouldn't want to play a game unsuited for our gaming play.

But BTW if you get all the main game plus the 2 expansions it is 7 factions with over 15 units per faction.
15 units each?
unimpresive when compared to how many each faction has in the table top version.
The Imperial Guard have 31, and that's not including Imperial Armour stuff.

The Emperor protects!
The Emperor protects!
Breathe deeply!
The Emperor protects... Protects... Protects...
...
Phew...
Right, we're making this mod mostly because we all like Warhammer and we all like modding. We're not trying to compete with Dawn of War. We're just making a game because we enjoy doing it, we like the 40k universe, and we think that we can improve on DOW in certain areas or offer something a bit different.
Dawn of War is a fantastic game, and I can't wait for the expansion. Our mod won't play like DOW though, it's a bit different. I guess you'll just have to wait and see.

I'd also like to add to the conversation about why you shouldnt just play DOW instead of waiting for this..
For me as a warhammer 40k fan(atic) i try to experience every ounce of Warhammer 40k i can, wheter it be an fps mod or some rts mod or a retail game..
If we can help spread the awesomeness that is Warhammer 40k to someone new to the franchise we'll be happy, if we can offer the 40k experience to someone who cant afford Dawn of War or who cant be bothered with buying it, we'll be happy too..
The main differences in Only War is that we'll have loads of different units, for example.. where as the Dawn of War Leman Russ is really the only medium tank the Imperial Guard can get we'll have several different variants of it.. also Dow is really a small scale rts game where as OW is much larger scale, it has more of a global warfare feeling to it where dawn of war has that small odd skirmish feeling.. We will have unique resource systems for each faction that will be more fluff correct than that of dow...
I could go on all day really..
Another reason is that the Only War 2 team is kickass... (well i am )
Emperor Protects.
