I'm sure I'll be spending next weekend playing it What difficulty are you aiming for? (Sorry if you've answered that somewhere already)
I'm aiming for high difficultness - but the result might be a different story . One betatester said it's quite easy, while another one lost the first battle straight away.

I think my favourite part was the starting battle outside the fortress. That was pretty cool part but also the trolls drumming and the wolf arriving were cool too.
One thing I found little bit annoying was that, I didnt get it down to the end so I dont know for sure, the good side doesnt get any reinforcements other than Elronds army and two eagles. I had very small amount of forces left when I finished destroying the drums and killing the wolf. But I think I had played it little dumb

Ive walked it 2/2 attempts. As I said on IP, replayability and originality are lacking. Probably one of best maps i have ever played. But especially with single player you could have had a massive map.ini adding new units/powers etc and would have had no affect to gameplay. Also the eagles have a timer I think-unless mine somehow get owned plying around outside, this would basically make them suicide units to own a drum than for anything useful as you dont get them for long. I loved the drum idea though and the cinematic for it. Maybe a Version 2 adding a lot of stuff
In my view the massive map.ini file isn't so neccessary, sometimes having units the players know well is a good thing. Eagles don't have timer but they tend to be very aggresive and fly right into the enemy arrows, that might be the problem
You could've made 2 batalions of troops come every couple of mins so you have more troops.
I hated the drums, but liked the first battle.
Then the difficulty would dramatically fall to a very low level and players would incline to do camping, waiting for new units to come. Also, it wouldn't be very realistic...

There's a story that the grass is so green...what did I see? Where have I been?
