14 total factions:

Good Forces
Rohan
Gondor
Elves
Dwarves
Dale
Arnor
Hobbits

Evil Forces
Harad
Rhun
Mordor
Isengard
Goblins
Angmar
Evil Halflings

It may sound crazy, but really, not much work required! if i can get the help of elvenfury, Rhun will already be made, plus, arnor doenst need any making. Harad, Rohan, and Gondor already have lots of units, and just need a few adds, and skin changes. As for hobbits, and Dale, i made them off of 1 unit, but all my ideas are already developed. Evil Halflings is a totally new faction. I already am chocked full of ideas

A 32 mission campain having to do with the five most popular hobbits, bilbo,frodo,sam,pippin,and merry!

This mod would be similar to the original rotwk, with new and improved units, heroes, and factions. The mod would also be semi based on tolkein's book, the hobbit. New dwarven, elven, goblin, and dale units would reflect this book.
The original isengard, mordor, goblins, angmar, dwarves, arnor, and elves are the same, or similar with added units, heroes, and buildings. Men of the west would be split into Rohan and Gondor with added units and units from the first bfme also. Arnor would be a playable version of the campain arnor with added untis, heroes, and buildings. Dale would be a totally new faction, including men of dale, brand, and much more. Harad and Rhun would be added with units from mordor's haradrim palace. All factions would have a weak fighting and repairing unit similar to lotr bfme1's peasants of rohan. Each wouldbe upgradable with cheap weapons(50). All upgrades for all factions would also come from a armoy type building (not like fire arrows from archery range, or banner carrier from barracks). Yes, well i just update. Look, it will be different, with many different things. it will be called The Hobbits Ring. A campain will start, 8 bilbo missions, then 8 fellowship, 8twotowers, and return of king, ending with frodo on mount doom. Also, it will have 14 toital factions

Why are there suddenly so many mods adding hobbits ? Guess Who, Smartdude and now this...Oh when will it end.

But the difference is, my mod is based on The Hobbit but doesnt involve hobbit faction or anything like that But like mod leader said

Sorry, but I think you are new to modding and don´t have any idea how much work it is to develop new factions, I´m working on my mod for more than 3 months, I split the Elves and add some powers, units and heros and I don´t think I´ll release anything before July (not even a beta)

And you want to add 14 new factions?
When will it be finished? In 2050?

I´d say add one faction or even less add some new units, learn modding and then do a bigger mod

First let me say. Yes, it was a stupid idea. My new idea different. 10 factions
the 8 originals:
Arnor
Angmar
Men of the west
Mordor
Goblins
Dwarves
Isengard
Elves

Now, if you can do math, that means 2 new factions:
Men of the east (evil- harad, fhun, and umbar)
Men of the north (good- duneain and dale).
ALl these factions would require would be new buildings, and a few new units. :
right?
