I have a few questions concerning the new 1.06.
It has come to my attention that an official 2.02 patch was released, however, I would like to know if the new 1.06 will require patch 2.02.

Also, I heard somewhere that Rob was planning the release of the so-awaited new version (1.06) to around this week, so I would like to know if it's still coming or if we'll have to wait a bit more. Rob seems a bit inactive right now.

The patch is unofficial, so I would assume it doesn't use it, as RJ implements his own balance. Rob's been busy doing other stuff I think, but he's coming back on msn now

yes the unofficial 2.02 patch has been out for a bit i believe and i doubt rob will do anything with it.

I don't think a skirmish balance mod would mesh very will with a BFMEI TC.

Well guys, it will be ready when it is ready. Rob's pretty busy with work at the moment, and a lot of people including myself have exams which, like it or not have to be put in front of modding. Once that's all over and it gets to summer, there'll be a lot more activity, you can really expect things to kick up a gear.
So, I'm not gonna confirm one month or two months, because it's impossible for us to say. It's good to have something to look forward to though guys, don't forget that

The release of the mod depends on what Rob decides he wants to include. There are a lot more features being added which takes him a lot of time to set up, as well as all the work the team needs to include. There is a lot of elven things that need to be finished first, but trust me from the private beta the wait will be worth it. A rushed beta with a lot missing, or a couple months wait for a great beta with a lot more, you decide what you want. After the next public beta, I can see it being quite a wait for another as a lot of the new big features including the campaign are done, so your all better off waiting for a very good beta to play with before, rather than one with a lot missing and having to play with it for a while before the next.
Mod deadlines are pointless as we all work as fast as we can and there is always unexpected delays, and expecting a team that has other resposibilities like school, family and work are unreasonable, especially as we do this for fun and don't get paid to do it. If you ever worked on a mod or a project, and constantly had people demanding more, you would understand how frustrating it is, so be patient and know the next beta will be totally worth the wait.

I know i dont appear in RJ foruns but just to everybody knows and dont think that im a " don't care guy, that only cares about himself and is fun", i do play RJ mod since i started playing BFME II ROTWK and is one of my favorites mods. But while looking through the foruns and threads i realized that the version 1.06 is being planned for months and was sad that would elease at june, july but till now nothing was released, i wouldnt say this in normal circunstances but ive broken my leg and i spend hours after hoursplaying RJ mod and SEE mod, and after seeing the 1.06 screens i must say that RJ is now with SEE my favourite mod ( before it was WotE and SEE ) and im starting to feel crazy just to play this mod. (that me afer seeing the screens)

Well....it really, really, honestly, should not be too long now We just got 1.06.03 yesterday, and rob will be inviting a few new testers with that. After we kill all the bugs in that, we move on to a quick 1.06.04 to make sure there's no major game dats, and then release it.
