Now ive gotten to the mission isengard and to me this seems to be utter impossible to do. Every time i try all my ents get slaughtered by the enemies troops and i dont get enough time to build any new ones.. Any ideas? Thanks

Pull back immediatly to the entmoot. Scount around with merry and pippin and maybe an ent or two for some lair treasure, and just keep building up :) When you get in, take out the archers first, then spears, then go straight for the dam.

Patience is the key to this mission :)
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

Well....patience didn't work for me....I rush in. I destroyed a wall then just sent every units to the dam and I actually won!

I tried both those options, basicly at the start cant build any more ents due to command limit + his entire army just rushes at the ent moot at the start. :/ rushing in goes bad to :S

The mission tbh is just stupidly hard, made me give up completely on the campaign..

i dont remember it being that bad the first time i did it (although i believe it was quite a while ago). try lowering the difficulty if you're having that much trouble. imo a difficult campaign is a fun campaign as long as it doesnt go overboard (so far so good).

Usually i would 100% agree with you, a hard campaign is a very fun campaign, in the retail campaigns i played on medium and hard and never ever had any diffiulty like this. No matter what i do the ents i got simply cant win against the entire isengard army just flushing out at me all at once.

Also, I played this campaign on easy, to test it out.

The difficulty shouldn't matter iirc...it's all scripted and in LWM...

Maybe it changes the agggressiveness of the orcs...they didn't charge me. Try it on brutal maybe...I'm not sure how each difficulty changes their search/destroy ai, but I think it does...

If you can't beat it, skip it. I had a weird problem where the fight started before the cutscene ended, which meant my Entmoot was mostly destroyed before I could start. But, after all, it is a non-linear campaign. Just go back to a save point before, and move your armies around Fangorn without entering it. You can still play Helm's Deep and the Iron Hills and everything else.
