i was thinking to make all the generals playable as super unit in barracks
but before we start discussion about this i would like to find out what creator thinks about this!!!!! :p

LOL......... Trax whit Acid/Toxin-Sprayer and lays Toxin/Axid Mines?
Sounds really COOL
Demo: HE-RPG, Demo-Traps, Selfdestrucktion-Ability
Stealth: Sniper, Infiltrator-(kill-Pilot), Stealth- and Saboteur-Ability
Assault: Cal-50(auto), Reinforcements(5 Marodeaurs), Atillerie-Call(24-Bullets)
Thats my Suggestions for GLA^^

i was also thinking that stealth gen would have always invisibility upgrade even wen he's attacking.
just like with sand wraith ;)

Infa: Always Horde^^, Minigunn, Ifantry-Paradrop-ability (8-minigunners, 8-Rocketsoldiers, 2-Sniper), Helix-Drop(2 Helix brings 2Troop-Crawler(All under your Controll))
Tank: Mobile-Gauss-Gun, Tank-Paradrop (6-Battlemaster, 6-Gattling, 4-Troopcrawler), AT-Mines (if it Matches to Tank-Gen-Style^^)
Nuke: RAD-Tank-cannon (like the one in Shockwave on RAD-Tank). Nuke-Detonator, Parabombing-Nukes
Flame: Flametrother, Fire-Grenade-Switsh, Napalmstrike- and Firestorm-Detonator-Ability.

USA Suggestions:
Lazer: Lazer/Microwave-Beam Weapon Switsh, Laser-Cannon-Strike (like Particle cannon, but only on 1 Target, Unmoveable)

but i was also thinking that THE GENERALS ARE PLAYABLE!!!! so the super unit of assault forces would named like general Huchum right ( 1 thing i'm twelve, so do you know any scripting tutorials for me so i can script them with complex codes? i a beginning scripter!!! ;) i will tell more about the super units tomorrow becouse i now have to shut down the pc ;)

:p Wait...what? Generals are tacticians, not fighters!

Besides, all general get Burton/Lotus/Jarmen with specialized abilities.

yes but if the are gonna fight they will give a tactical advancement to there own forces.
it works the same way as propaganda tower then. i now that they are the leaders of there forces.
but there is a chance that they will help with fight
but when they die your army doesn't have any general to command them wits mean you are defeated.
(in this case to keep it fair is that they have very huge heavy super mega armor) not really meant SO big as stands there <
that would give another type of game play: regicide( by age of empires also regicide there is means that you have to kill the king in this case the general to win or by conquest) but that is AN OPTION so you will have different typer of game play :p

I actually like this idea, but what about the general powers/Super weapons? Wouldn't they just kill him in a few hits?

If it is possible and someone can figure out a way to make it playable and not just "OMG I WULD LUV IT, MAEK IT!1", I think it would be great.

you will can build a special building called fortress witch can withstand a nuclear bomb with advanced warheads.but only the general can enter it. the build cost will be 2500. also i said that all the generals will have very high armor ( they can withstand
an plasma blast!) also i was thinking that general huchum would have dig ability hey can make a small hole with only room for 3 units BUT IT IS ALWAYS INVISIBLE. also i am good in talking( with accents etc...) so if you guys need someone that can say things for some unit i am ready for ya. and wasn't creator saying he could make infantry right?
MAYBE he could help if he isn't too busy with this mod. because i want also to help with making the sprites (or how you would say it) but i have no photoshop program

Are sprites even used in 3d games? i always thought it was models, textures, meshes and animations?

i don't think thats an easy copy-paste to do, but even if you would set aside the technical aspect, Generals is not the kinda game that gets remade by fans to newer games/engines.

asking: why can they make tanks and super vehicles not without interrupting the SAGE engine limitations.
infantry is much smaller than a tank :shiftee:
also, what has that to make with the limitations about the SAGE engine?
i thought that the SAGE engine uses a stop-motion camera?
what has that to make with infantry?

I dont think the one who strated this tactic refered to epic infantry or hero units (like burton lotus jarman) or the generals on the battlefield! But more of a tipe of infantry with lots of fire power and abillities! I think :-??!
It whould be really funny to see an infantry tipe that will stay face to face with the Emperor Tank!
And win to ( not like jarman kell who killes pilots and stuff!) i mean destroying the tank with fire power or something :-??

jarmen kell i a little handy couse he has a sniper. can snipe down vehicles,buildings
colonel Burton is the weakest and useless hero i think.

but can't anyone think about a Replacement for the Heros?
I like the idea much, couse the "normal" Heros dont have much Different Stuff.........
and that Scholdn't be a Original General on the Battlefield^^ only A copy or Something^^

but the Defend your Hero Idea is Great^^
the only Balance thing to make is, Disable from Superweapons^^
couse it is Unfair when you Play against SW gen with his Defenses against ALL tipes of SW in Exist^^

but its all Nonsense, couse First musst be the release of Contra 006, then we can make Suggestions^^

What is it you are referring to that you think the sage engine cannot do?

Erm, no, since you can mass 100 Burton/Jarmen/Lotus in Contra, no more super infantry.
