Theoden, son of Thengel is the proud and honest king of Rohan, home to finest horsemen in all of Middle-Earth. During the early stages of war of the ring, this kings mind was enslaved by the white wizard, Saruman... one of the Istari who abandoned who his order, betrayed his allies and joined the enemy.
Eomer
Eomer is a proud, valiant captain of the outlawed Rohirrim and the 3rd marshall of the riddermark. He was banished from his homeland during the early stages of the war of the ring by his uncle because of his poisoned mind and the constant presence of the venomous tongued servant of Isengard, 'Grima Wormtougue'.
Eowyn
Theodens' niece, a daughter of kings and a shield maiden of Rohan. She was often harassed by Grima Wormtougue, until Mithrandir arrived to Rohan to free the kings mind of the corrupted wizards fell power. Soon after, she secretly disguises herself as an average male
Rohirrim warrior and rides alongside the other 6000 Rohirrim to the fields of Pelennor where the greatest battle of the 3rd age took place.

Grimbold
Grimbold of Grimsdale, is one of Theoden's leading commanders. He performed the great deed of rescuing Theodred, son of Theoden and next in line for the throne, from Saruman's attacking Uruk-hai on the Fords of Isen. He was awarded for his act of bravery and great courage, but later fell in the battle of Pelennor, and in folk songs and tales he was fondly remembered as "Doughty Grimbold".
