I was able to get the file off filefront pretty promptly, although I stopped the d/l as I dont need it.

Maybe it could be your computer? does filefront use a java based program for d/l'ing? Is your java updated? any antivirus running, scanning the d/l as it comes in? Pausing that might speed things up..
As there are many who play and d/l it, and no one has ever discussed the d/l access (unless they have dial up ), I wonder if its not on your end. maybe do some checking?

Hey Naz, i'm having some problems with filefront too, a message appears saying that there was an error and i should contact filefront support center but it dont help anyways... so if you can please try to put on www.4shared.com or easyshare... it would help and save a lot of time.

Please try FF again, make sure your d/l installations are working, such as java or flash; I am not sure which one FF uses. But I just got on there and started the d/l easily, no errors. I even included a screenshot of it, check the date....
So try it again, maybe test some other files on FF, or go to sun and macromedia and test your software installs. Do you have a firewall hindering it?

ive tryed with and without firewall, ive messed up all my internet cnfigs but i got no succes, sometimes i download something from FF but i i must keep trying to download it for like 2 hours and when i manage to get it woking most of the times it freezes, i had this problem when dowloading WotE beta 3.2, and i succesfully downloaded it after a whole night i left downloading, i tryed it with SEE but i cant manage to even start the download... so my site suggestions are 4shared, easyshare, rapidshare (that btw is extremely annoying for those who have fixed IP) and megaupload that is annoying too because sometimes it only works for premium users and sometimes you need to install the megaupload bar that is extremely useless... my favorite is 4shared.

EDIT:now that i finally managed to download in FF, the download is gonig at 20 kb/sec... so if you succesfully put it in another upload server i would appreciate a lot, because normally my download goes at 120+ kb/sec on others servers...

whats your download speed on your ISP?

or maybe your capped and youve been restricted?

some times your download gets frozen, becuase your not using a download manager and/or your download expired

So do you not have it installed now, at all?

I would be concerned the problem is with your PC, not a FF issue; have you checked your downloaded programs installations?
Try running adaware and spyware doctor on your pc? it sounds like something is wrong on your end, no offense.

it would be nice to have it hosted in other secure sites like FF is; but if thats not happening now and the issue is your pc, then maybe thats where we ought to look first? I would be surprised if the problem is with FF.

I've already checked gain and again and i'm sure the problem is not with my PC, because if it were i would not download in other sites. commonly my download speed is 90-150 kb/sec, only with FF it is like 4-15 kb/sec and it always freeze, i'm currently with DAP as download manager but i tryed others and i wasnt succesfull. So please someone put on another download site.

I put a PM to MS and asked him.
when I said the issue is with your pc I also meant something between you and FF as other are able to use filefront with no problem; I started to d/l'd it twice this week per this thread and each time it went fine and I am on cable light, got good speeds. So something in your pc is hindering, be it a download manager, or ISP connection, etc.
But I put in a note to MS and asked him to drop by if he knows of another site

Thanks God and MS the link worked wonderfully it is downloading at 170 kb/sec soon ill play SEE again
And the problem is not my internet for sure because my PC succesfully downloaded it 3 weeks ago... the problem is that ive broken my leg so im using my laptop. but now im downloading thanks anways.

A pinned topic in this forum would be nice, with links to all sites that carry SEE. I'm far to busy modding to remember much else... lol
