Hey here is something I noticed in BFME2 and the RotWK expansion something that should've been changed from the original BFME1. The current Gondorian soldier model is BFME1 quality (Taking into account all the impressive reskins :) ), but it still lacks the quality of the newer BFME2. Normaly I wouldn't bring this to anyone's attention, but I have seen some of your guys exceptional unit models, and I think that the unit could be done justice by you guys. here's some helmet designs I found

and the general Gondorian spearman

as you can see for yourself (despit the new reskins) the model is not quite done justice. The advantage of also a remodel of this unit, it isn't just for one particular unit. This same new model template can be used as a basis for the Swordsmen, Spearmen, Archers and Horsemen of Gondor.

Another thing that would be nice but isn't needed is a new animation for the default Gondorian. I mean for being the finest standing army in Middle Earth, the original BFME running animations do not compliment them. New running (Non-Charging) animations should make it look more like an orderly "double time", with their weapons in the air (So it could be used with spearmen as well as swordsmen).

Thanks for hearing me out

I agree with you. Even on maximum settings, the model is not really as close to the movies at it could be (and on Low setting, the Gondorians look like Scud missiles, lol). But... I would imagine that noone really wants to fiddle with this that much any more, since the gondorian unit have always been a subject of numerous reskins and modeling versions by now. Most of them focusing on the shield though, and not the helmet, which IMO is the most needed part.

However, with the awesome skin material I got from Eldarion, I was able to put the finishing touches to them in my mod, into what I think is farily good resemblance to the movies (not counting the shape of the helmet) :p

The first Helmet shown in the picture was the one i was gonna use for Numenor, the second i used for the Gondorian Royal Guards, the 3rd for Arnor (I am trying to make them more clear instead of the models by EA) and the fourth for Gondor (I haven't touch the Helmet much but i will try). other than that you are very right about the helmet parts in the game.

LOL, that is a good way to describe the Gondorian ;) , and by the way they run you'd think they'd have the same effect. They pratically bullhead the enemy ;) ... As been said the new skins I've seen would almost make it look perfect to the movies, besides two things...

1.The Helmet
2.The Running Animations

BTW, I didn't know that first helmet was Numenor, I was wondering what that was :D ....

the first helmet is actually faramir's
Egalmoth wore a blue mantle upon which the stars were broidered in crystal.
The leader of the House of the Heavenly Arch.
Alone of all the Noldor, he used a curved sword.

The people of the Heavenly Arch was arrayed in many colours and their arms were set with with jewels and their shields was blue as the sky.Egalmoth got out of the burning Gondolin and came to the Mouth of Sirion

I never said the 1st helmet was Numenor, i just said that that model was the one i was gonna used for my Numenor soldiers. I haven't seen a Numenor armor yet so i might use the 1st helmet.
