Kate Voegele - Burning the Harbor [Gravity Happens]
Yep, gayin' it up some more.

I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.

Iron Maiden - The Mercenary [Brave New World]
This is the first metal album I ever bought, and it carries a special place in my heart. And my ears.

That's a damn fine first metal album. Brave New World is one of my favorite Maiden albums of all time. I mean... it opens with The Wicker Man, which is just awesome.
........... Dragonforce - Through The Fire And Flames [Inhuman Rampage]
I swore off them a while ago, but I can't help it. This album is just so catchy.

Anberlin - The Feel Good Drag [Never Take Friendship Personal]
I love this song. The rest of the album is kinda meh, but this song is goddamn awesome.
Fen, I still remember pretty vividly the time I saw Dragonforce live, because it was the second-best gig I've ever been to, behind the first time I saw Maiden. Those guys know how to have a good time. It was off Inhuman Rampage too, so you can rest assured there were plenty of unnecessary and unbelievable guitar solos. I also ran into them a couple of months later at a Coheed & Cambria gig, which was weird. I was just walking over to the bar and then BAM! Herman Li, Sam Totman, ZP Theart and Vadim Pruzhanov. Right there in front of me, easily recognisable because between them they had more hair than the rest of the audience combined. They bought me a drink, thus winning my eternal gratitude and respect.

AWOLNATION - Sail [Megalithic Symphony]
Double post, who gives a shit. The album's kinda meh, but I just can't get enough of this song right now.

In Flames - Where the Dead Ships Dwell [Sounds of a Playground Fading]
I have a strange on-again-off-again relationship with In Flames, but right now we're seriously on again.
